Q: Can you tell us about your journey at ImmuONE? How did you start, and how has your role evolved into being an Application Scientist
Q: Could you share some of the exciting projects you’ve been involved in at ImmuONE, particularly in the realms of in vitro toxicology and animal-free approaches?
A: In terms of animal-free approaches, I have spearheaded projects comparing animal-based antibodies with animal-free ones, aiming to contribute to the animal-free movement. Additionally, I have worked on optimising phagocytosis assay methodologies.
Q: What is the reason behind your extensive work in animal-free approaches?
A: I am excited about the rapid advancements in technology and scientific innovation that have enabled us to develop more accurate and reliable methods for research and testing. These approaches not only align with my ethical beliefs but also offer the potential for more robust and relevant results, which can significantly benefit human health and the environment. By working in this field, I aim to contribute to this shift in the industry toward more responsible and sustainable practices.
Q: What motivates your work at ImmuONE, especially concerning product development and validation?
A: My passion for cell culture and toxicology drives my work by focusing on seeking animal-free solutions for toxicity testing. This alignment enables me to actively contribute to the evolving field. The research and development dimension in this domain continually inspires me, helping bridge the gap between academic research and the commercial world, thanks to my Ph.D. experience.

A: Certainly!
